“Buddhist Wedding Ceremony of the noble lineage embodies one of the most mysterious Zen lifestyles in Vietnam.”

The event theme “Where Life Blooms” to “Bear Fruits” is also a message that the family wishes to convey, aiming for a peaceful, simple, and genuine lifestyle. Guests also have the chance to experience unforgettable emotions when walking barefoot on the sand, listening to the sound of the sea waves, the melodious blending of the flute, and the soothing sound of Thien Tue’s “gentle steps” meditation.

A very special story lies behind the wedding Ao Dai of the bride and groom. This is one of the very few times that Trinh Hoang Dieu – the younger sister of the late musician Trinh Cong Son, accepted the request to individually tailor the wedding Ao Dai. The design of this traditional costume represents the happiness of a complete family with five flats: the front two flats are the parents, the back two flats are the husband and wife, and the fifth flat inside represents the children. The front of the Ao Dai has five buttons, symbolizing the virtues of benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom, and faithfulness, which are highly valued in Eastern culture. The back of the Ao Dai is embroidered with the image of a crane – a symbol of happiness. The flat of the ao dai originally belongs to the traditional attire of ancient queens but has been redesigned to be suitable for modern wedding design. The name of this especially-tailored Ao Dai is also very special: “Hình – Bóng”, implying a wish for the couple’s love to always be firm and enduring like an image with its shadow.
